Elementary School Sports
The primary focus for Elkhart Elementary Athletics is not on winning or losing, but on the development and growth of the individual and team. An emphasis is placed on fundamental skills and teamwork. In elementary school, student-athletes should begin to understand the concepts of offense and defense; the importance of good communication skills on the court or field; and the importance of competing as a future Elkhart Lion. Additionally, there is a focus on team success and the individual player’s development of work ethic, coachability, and sportsmanship. Our number one goal is that they develop a love for the game, so they will want to continue to develop their skills as they grow.

- Elementary sports are played at the following locations:
- Track, Soccer, Basketball, Flag Football: Elkhart High School - 2608 California Road, Elkhart, IN 46514 (map)
- Volleyball: Elkhart High School - 2608 California Road; EHS Freshman Division - 1 Blazer Blvd, Elkhart, IN 46516 (map)
- Lacrosse: Pinewood Elementary - 3420 E Bristol Street, Elkhart, IN 46514 (map)
- Admission for all elementary games is $2 per person. ECS staff are free with valid school ID.
